The Andalucia government has announced "Plan Vuela", a project for creating "one of the largest Wi-Fi networks in the whole of Europe". It will provide access nodes to each of its 10,500 offices and centres in the region, such as hospitals, schools, libraries, museums and administrative centres. The spokesperson of the Andalucia government, Elias Bendodo has said that the aim is to "reduce travel and facilitate teleworking". The budget is estimated at 250 million euros and the announcement of the first operative centeres will come in the following few weeks.
