The engineering company will open a corporate headquarters in the capital of Cadiz where 52 people will work on a project focused on software development

The province of Cádiz adds a new technological asset in its commitment to attracting investment and talent in the sector. The Spanish technology multinational Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía is going to be based in the tax area of ​​the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, where it will occupy 471 m2 of offices to accommodate 52 jobs, as reported by the Free Zone. The objective of Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía is to open and consolidate a new corporate headquarters in the Cadiz tax area from where it can meet its growth prospects.

Grupo Oesía is a Spanish multinational dedicated to industrial (Tecnobit) and digital (Oesía Networks) engineering, with more than 3,000 professionals who work for 23 countries around the world distributed in 15 corporate headquarters in Spain and Latin America, from where they develop and implement innovative projects globally.

In a first phase, the projects to be implemented belong to the Digital and Industrial divisions of the technology group. In the new headquarters of Cádiz, "cutting-edge technology, specifically a project focused on software development" will be developed, they report from Zona Franca. The initial investment that the company will disburse to adapt the facilities amounts to 465,000 euros.

Region with potential for the technology industry

The implementation of the Spanish multinational represents a new step in the work of attracting companies and investments in which the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz is immersed, which has facilities and a network of equipment both in the tax area of ​​the capital and in the rest of the province.

The State delegate in the Free Zone, Fran González, highlights the potential of the province of Cádiz to attract investors and companies. In this sense, the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz is carrying out an intense work of "recovery, improvement and placing on the market of its productive spaces". At the same time, it is adapting this network of facilities to the new parameters of quality, sustainability and commitment to the environment of the new industrial model”, explains González.

For his part, Francisco Melgar, responsible for projects at Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía, underlines that Andalucía in general, and Cadiz more specifically, "is a region with a very high potential for talent and experience in a key sector such as the technology industry" and defines as “wise” settling in the Free Trade Zone “because it opens up opportunities in multiple ways”.

45 years of innovation and specialization

Grupo Oesía has 45 years of experience in product and service innovation in the fields of health, defense and security, telecommunications, finance, logistics and the agri-food sector.
