Sevilla information

"Seville is the best way to get to know Spain", said former US President Barack Obama two years ago during the celebration of the World Travel and Tourism Council. Possibly correctly so. What is a certainty is that Seville is a symbol of Andalusian culture and traditions, like flamenco. Its capital (2 million inhabitants) is in itself a monument. The historic center of Seville is one of the largest and best preserved in Europe and has been declared a World Heritage Site. Strolling through Seville means "losing consciousness" through a labyrinth of streets full of personality, colorful squares and corners full of life.

The churches, flamenco tablaos and terraces facing the Guadalquivir River are part of the soul and essence of this land that passionately celebrates its April Fair and Holy Week. To the north, the Sierra offers unique green landscapes in which to lose yourself in the warmer seasons of the year. In economic terms, tradition and modernity go hand in hand. The mainstays of the economy are tourism, aerospace, logistics, business services and livestock. Seville is the administrative capital of Andalusia and seat of the regional government.
